wow, a minute difference between top ten women. What's the men's split going to be? looks like it's drying out, so last few men should have the fastest conditions?

looking at how slow everyone is in the tech sections, the enderpo bikes look like a better idea for the massive pedal out. Not ragging on the girls, I'm sure I would take 15 minutes to make my way down in those conditions, but that made the sport look pretty bad. Hopefully the guys look quicker.

interesting talk about the dry line, will riders opt out of the Sam Hill lines and follow the sheeple because it rolls faster?

Course hold explanation:

Damn Adam Brayton crashed hard. Had to get evac'ed.

Random guy takes Adam's bike, rides it down the hill w/o a helmet....... GETS KNOCKED THE F*CK OUT in the whoops. Has to get evac'ed.

Steve Peat gets a re-run.

So, I've done mah thing:

Cairns full results on R&R

Fastest sectors:

1st sector: Loic Bruni, 1:18.570, 1.194s up on Neko.
2nd sector: Gee Atherton, 1:33.042, 1.652s up on Gwin.
3rd sector: Sam Dale, 1:06.548, 0.553 up on Blenkinsop.

If you add those together you get a "perfect" run of 3:58.16.

Which shows you how good Gee's run was, to be only 2.5 seconds off on a course that was causing everyone so many problems.
Which kinda goes to show how wide open the result was, no consistency anywhere!

Had to revise the results - UCI have disqualified Minnaar, and then I made an error when amending that. I think everything's correct now.

Serves me right for pulling results from live timing instead of waiting for the official PDF!

Was this the off track incident shown on the Redbull race coverage? If so, I call BS.
