Right now they are going after the worst of the worst. There are some guidelines, however they have been taken advantage of. For example, a woman coming here illegally while pregnant just to have the child here should not count. If you're here on a green card/visa while working/living, that's a different story and should be treated differently.
In regards to death of kids & 2nd amendment. How about getting to the root cause? When I was in HS kids from the family ranch's had their pickup trucks with the gun rack in the back window, usually a loaded shotgun & rifle in place with the doors unlocked. We all knew never to touch them, no school shootings. So, since 1999 (Columbine) until today what is causing this to happen? I know you and the rest of you're far left group will go sideways, but all the antidepressants and ADHD meds prescribed to these kids should be closer looked at. Unfortunately they can't release medical records of the kids that committed these atrocities, but makes one wonder, were they on them? We do know that suicide is a side effect in minors with antidepressants, so do these drugs skew their thoughts and make them numb to what's really happening? Is big pharma partially responsible?
