they are the same rims just they give it a weird name for the wheelsets, dont remember the name off the top of my head but their orange/red wheelset had some weird name but was the same as the 6.1d

better yet..can someone explain the new Crank Brother's wheelset? Benefits? Purpose?
The nipple is really long and is basically the full length spoke, then it has a u shaped piece that onnects o th rim. There is no spoke windup when you tighten the wheel. That's the biggest benefit i can see.

In addition, i would think that they could shave some weight as they don't have to worry about eyelets and should be able to reinforce the areas where the spoke connects only. In a UST wheel application , it should be easier/cheaper to manufacturer this rim as well i would think than mavic's eyelets while saving a good bit of weight.

i want some of these, like the old caraumba double barrels but

WTF is the point of that? The only reason i can see is that when you are out doing runs you can swap bikes with flat pedal riders and they won't freak out.
when i float on my mallets now it does't feel like pins. this would
feel more sticky.
