A little over 2 weeks after arriving in Europe and I can't help but say that I've never been more happy to say that I'm from the United States.
Perhaps I was a little too optimistic after hearing all of the 'Stupid American' propaganda, but I can't say that I've been overly impressed with much yet. I have seen some nice historical architectural pieces and one of the flight attendants from Atlanta to Amsterdam was quite impressive, but other than that, I can't think of one thing that would make me think Europe was better than the US. I'd still like to ride and ski in the Alps, but would I like to live here for any length of time? Hell no.
