different companyThey should just pump out more Imperials and Plastic bash guards.... The masses loved those ****in' things.
fixed it for you...They should just pump out BIKES.... The masses loved those ****in' things.
Well of course, but we were talking about former products of Evil, weren't we?both of those are super old products. Evil bikes and E13 components are different companies now
Think for a minute. Who makes bikes and who makes chain guides? Right.Well of course, but we were talking about former products of Evil, weren't we?
Nowadays it's companies mentioned by IH8Rice, but:Who makes bikes and who makes chain guides? Right.
And you still don't get it. 2. Different. Companies. Now.Nowadays it's companies mentioned by IH8Rice, but:
Who made Imperials and who made plastic bashguards? Evil.
and once upon a time, cannondale made bikes in north america.Nowadays it's companies mentioned by IH8Rice, but:
Who made Imperials and who made plastic bashguards? Evil.
The old Evil (the makers of the imperial) did also produce products as e13. Evil got sold off and is run on the west coast now. e13 continued for a while but sold recently to The Hive who still sells things as e13. Needless to say, it's not the same guys running the show on either front.Nowadays it's companies mentioned by IH8Rice, but:
Who made Imperials and who made plastic bashguards? Evil.
I'll try for ya. He is saying to salvage their reputation, Evil should transform back into the company of old. Simple products that just work. New Evil should = Old Evil. Everybody knows that new Evil sucks and has nothing to do with the Evil that made imperials and started the poly bashguard revolution. Buuuut, to salvage the new company it must return to its roots.Maybe this is some lost in translation thing going on, I give up.
yes. at that time Imperials and the plastic guards/chain guides were under the "Evil" name. but the Revolt was made by the "new" Evil bikes and the current E13 company has nothing to do with the bike company. they still make those poly carbonate bash guards thoughNowadays it's companies mentioned by IH8Rice, but:
Who made Imperials and who made plastic bashguards? Evil.
the chainguides were first produced under the Evil name along with their bikes. the E13 came later on (after the bikes and chainguides split IIRC)The old Evil (the makers of the imperial) did also produce products as e13. Evil got sold off and is run on the west coast now. e13 continued for a while but sold recently to The Hive who still sells things as e13. Needless to say, it's not the same guys running the show on either front.
Alright, I'm the stupid one, I thought you meant that the Imperial frames and plastic bashguards were made by two different companies called Evil, didn't realize you talked about the new and old Evil.yes. at that time Imperials and the plastic guards/chain guides were under the "Evil" name. but the Revolt was made by the "new" Evil bikes and the current E13 company has nothing to do with the bike company.
get it?
if that was a joke, then you must write for Gallagher cause it wasnt funny.wow, you guys missed the boat... no sh*t E.13 and Evil split, that was the point of the joke  Not to mention it was years ago, before some people here were even riding w/o training wheels.
He must kick himself that he stopped the collaboration with Intense.there is a recent interview with markus stoeckl on youtube (on german). apparently he's trying to buy evil...
Can't speak for everyone, but I'm a bit nostaligic about Evil v1... in fact I still ride oneWhy anybody would give a crap about this company blows my mind.
i'm still waiting for this:
ms claims in the interview above that he paid most of the bills for the team by himself.aye, small claims before they declare bankruptcy. You can probably squeeze out enough cash of them to buy a replacement frame, though maybe not the full amount you paid. They can't survive forever, sponsoring a race team but selling no products.... ???? You may have to travel though to do a successful claim, not sure how that works.
I just pooped myself......http://www.pinkbike.com/news/Cam-Zink-Worlds-Largest-Back-Flip-off-Drop-2011.html
