time to get cracking on the 'ring, people -- somebody must take down BMXman, but it's not going to be me... i posted my setup in post #120 for the curious. nothing wacky, just making the car turn but not jump out of line on all the bumps. everything not mentioned was default settings with the "best" or standard parts.

well I did spend a good amount of time with car set up...I really like the M3 race car...it's definitely one of my preferred rides....like i said........humiliated

hmm...I'm thinking maybe something is missing. I should not be that much faster than everyone else...so here are some numbers I pulled. Unfortunately I didn't get the number from my best lap. But these are from a 6.01.096 lap I just ran about a 1/2 hour ago:like i said........humiliated

well I would suggest a few things but then it would be duplicated in the next challenge in the making....my local group is currently on:
any car with under 100 stock HP...mods open to anything, racing on Cote D Azur (sp)...D

well you have to add some type of guidelines or else everyone will just be in Formula 1 cars which will screw some of the people who haven't earned one yet...D
but that's what i was envisioning: that track would be AWESOME with tons (literally) of downforce...
any ideas on restrictions? we already had our low-hp competition with the miatas, so that idea's out.
we already had the NSX-R challenge for D, who was defeated on his home turf by me, so to speak.

now wait a second! my car had about 690hp! not 726........
my setup was actually pretty close to that......brakes were way lower (didn't know i could go that high without dying) and spring rate was higher, thats about it though.........
i need to check out what i missed........must have forgot something........and NOW i figure it out
:huh:1:42.313 in the latest challenge. Can def. drop a bunch of time off that though, need to play with the brakes and suspension some.
try the Honda Integra DC5, Dodge SRT, or the Ford Foucs hatch....all of them have about the same power to weight ratio and are the fastest non race cars in the game...D
There's only one car that is any good for this challenge. The rest just can't match the power needed.
