Nah, I think Gary has convinced him to give up on life and just get an e-bike.
Oh, wonderful question, I’m glad you asked.Oh I have no doubt you have a cornucopia of Mag 30 destroying rox in CO and Angelfire, I was just trying to start a rock fight
Btw, so is this event something you'd want to do on a DH bike or could you do it on a Smash or MT and pray you don't obliterate your wheels?
Even worse: a gravel bike.Nah, I think Gary has convinced him to give up on life and just get an e-bike.
So you put drop bars on a Pedalhead?Even worse: a gravel bike.
Yes.What's so objectionable about gravel bikes other than the industry trying to sell us the kind of touring bikes they have been making for decades under a new name and with the addition of disc brakes?
Drop bars and Road Plus wheels, I’m calling it the Full Haul Trucker edition. So you put drop bars on a Pedalhead?
They fit larger tires. What's so objectionable about gravel bikes other than the industry trying to sell us the kind of touring bikes they have been making for decades under a new name and with the addition of disc brakes?
my new road bike can easily fit 33-35 cx tires in there. They fit larger tires.
They have plenty of rox at Angel Fire, and I think we may be sending folks down Alpha Rocks for one of the runs, which is pretty much rox on rox, sprouted from other rocks.
what's all this talk of Angel Fire racing now ?????Oh, wonderful question, I’m glad you asked.
The Good, The Rad, and The Gnarly race routes were picked such that a Megatrail or The Smash would be the best, with a Shred Dogg or Trail Pistol 2nd best. Anything else is just going to be slower.
My Soma Wolverine fits 45 mm tires with fenders (if barely) and has hydraulic discs front and rear. I'm ok with this trend. They fit larger tires.
Maybe if you had normal brakes and 180mm (i.e. non-flexy rotors) you wouldn't be so slow. [winky face]DFL award for each category
Suddenly interested.......
Our beloved RC from PB stated he never used anything bigger than 180mm because 203mm are so much more flexier and easier to bend.Flexy rotors? Did I miss something?
dude - put that thing back in your pants.hnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng
So a hardtail 29er with drop barsDrop bars and Road Plus wheels, I’m calling it the Full Haul Trucker edition.

Tickets have already been secured for these shenanigans.Speaking of, there’s a Film On The Rocks 20th anniversary of The Big Lebowski coming up soon. Anybody on the front range, get out your bath robes and be ready to sneak in some White Russians to Red Rocks.
