For me the biggest part of dropping weight has been removing beer/booze from the equation. When I was going through my divorce I kicked drinking all together, and moved into the gym. I was snowboarding every day, running every night, and lifting a lot of hate out of my system.
I was 270 when we started that, I was 205 when I got done.
Then I broke both collar bones and busted some ribs. That slowed me down, got back up to 240. Then I moved here, and that just killed it.
I feel better now then I have in a long time. I can ride for an hour without stopping. I saw my toes this morning. I just have a long way to go. The goal now is 190 by NYE 2012, assuming we're all still here.
