.:585:.
Mini-me came home with a cold last Wednesday. That cold has now spread to both my wife and I. Currently at work but feel like death. Blah...

Is it PC these days in the work place if your boss leaves you a note on a job that didn't make the profit it should have to say "Just kick me in the sack next time and say no!"?

Crazy few days before heading to Delaware to see family for the weekend. Anybody familiar with the Lewes area? Any good craft beer breweries down there?

frickin' 33°F and raining. there's a possibility it may turn to freezing rain later today. I put my summer tires on the commuter this weekend, and I need to get to the Doctor's office this afternoon. I hope it doesn't freeze otherwise it will be very sketchy.

Rain and much fog this morning. Hopefully the sun comes out and blasts it away, I'd like to try and sneak in a ride tonight. Picked up a new saddle bag for my cross bike on the weekend. This one can fit my Samsung S8 without feeling like the zipper is going to explode. Its also neon orange and has some reflective crap on it, which is nice. That bike is 99% black and I pretty much only own black bike clothes, so its always felt a little sketchy if I ride on the road at all...

Way to go! Its supposed to be 15c over this way this afternoon......

went back to work today, two weeks post breaking my leg. Light duty for the next month. Going to the Podiatrist tomorrow: Xrays and pull the plaster splint off. Hopefully I get the staples out and a walking boot vs a fiberglass cast.
Yikes! I'm not on RM for a couple weeks and the place goes to shit!

Customer doesn't have enough desk space for me to work at site with them. So I'm going back to the hotel to work. I'd rather be at home...

Also see HAB's solid tibial plateau/proximal fib fracture in the skimonkey pictures thread, perhaps 8 posts in from the end. Brutal.

I am working as are most of you, save for Heidi. But I am also working at the site that is near to my favorite Thai place. Therefore drunken noodles for lunch and Thai takeout for the family tonight. I will settle for this on the balance.

That ship has sailed!

But I am looking forward to emerging from winter hibernation-status somewhat, what with more bike commuting and "mountain biking".

I'm here!

Trying to deal with Wifey's anxiety over my idiot parents coming to visit. They of course are staying for a week because they know that more than like 4 nights means total nuclear meltdown here at the house.

I am starting to shadow people at work in a new role, which is really cool and I think it's going to be a good fit for me.

This weekend was a clusterfuck and I got no riding time, even though it was beautiful.

Yeti has been serviced and is ready to ride. Need to take it in to have the fork serviced, as it's short 1" on travel for some reason. I'm guessing too much oil in the cartridge.

Power washed the fence in prep for staining. Hung the cafe lights under the deck, to which Wifey complained that I didn't hang them above. Not sure how she wants me to hang them when there are no beams to hang them from! Need to get the rack onto the back of the roadie and get the trailer usable so that we can ride with Hannah.
