Potentially...if I end up going it means something good has already happened actually.
Cool.

Well it'd be great if at least ONE owner (current or former) of this place would come to a Monkeyfest to mingle with us mere peasants. :D

Treesaw can tell you for sure, but with 20+/- people it worked out to be $50 for the whole weekend per person, w/ Treesaw's yummy meals included!! Just about the same as it would be for a site at Burke Mountain Campground. (I think overall it was like $700-$800)
That's correct. The more people who come, the lower the price too! And, I will be happy to provide good eats again this time around.

Ok -- Just got an e-mail back from the lodge owners we are on teh calendar for Sept. 29th (after 2pm) - October 1st (checking out about 12pm). :dancing: I'll get a cost breakdown to everyone when we get a little closer, but I would think $50 per person for the weekend will cover lodging and food (I'll bring enough for everyone -- any ideas on what you might like? I am open to suggestions AND this time there will be cookies)

$400/night... I'm not sure if it will go up due to peak foliage.

Treesaw, I'm still a maybe. Like I said, I'm not too keen on spending $180 on gas again, but if I can find some passengers who can commit to the trip and split gas with me...

You are in NOVA right? I might be interested. Let me talk to the wife.

Hey, what's the bathroom/shower situation at the lodge? One bathroom/one shower?
2 bathrooms/showers. One is "public", the other is off the master bedroom. Each bunkroom has it's own sink in it too.

I want beer from Trout River.

And they make a mean pizza too. Maybe 1 night we can save the cooking and get 2 dozen pizzas?!
