yes, but it shows a big wheel in a demo frame!That pic doesn;t even really show the bike
How can you tell that the wheel in that pic is 650b?
considering the demo platform is what, 8 or 9 years old, not surprised it's gonna be put out to pasture
Their pace of "innovation" since 2010 has been blistering.

That bike looks exactly like the current version for sale. If they're going to be redoing the bike, I think it would look a little different.

Too bad they are in bed with ohlins and not RS. They could have a triple special tld,spesh, rs edition with a bike that is both too fast for you and too hot for teh ladiez.

Below is the stock rear suspension data for an 2013 Enduro Evo Expert. Does work really well. I increase the shaft travel so I have 7.9 of travel and put a fox 40 on which is dropped 2.0 mm. Increased BB height by 4 mm. Much better park bike than a demo now.

I say they will drop the chainstay/swingarm pushed shock fsr design of the current demo,
and use the enduro evo bike shock configuration.
naming dh/fr bikes is marketing, g spot, dominatrix (arousing), stinky (is funny, who is stinky, the designer?), glory hole, sunday then tuesday (was the bike finished on a tuesday?), etc.
is the name "demo lish" taken? - (demo + abolish)
demo's status: abolish = to do away with it or put an end, the old design.
demolish = to destroy, to eat all, to tear down WC race tracks.
or devo (demo + evo) = not the band.

That wasn't a World Cup. He was injured that year and came back at the end to win Worlds. Did he win any WCs the previous year or two he was on the Demo?
He won the overall in 2009 whilst on the Demo, I believe. I think it's the year he wore Palmer's gold jacket to the podium.
Cmon, he was racing against the same top riders he would at a regular WC event, just the overall field wasn't as deep. And coming off an injury? One of most amazing accomplishments of his decorated career IMO. And while I'm not sure if he won any other races on the Demo, he was a constant podium threat before the Ft. Bill detonation.

Yeah it certainly wasn't the same caliber race as a world cup. I don't even think they'd use that track for a world cup. The competition wouldn't be anywhere close to the same either. My bad.

Fair to assume plate 84 is Mitch's bike next Gwin's. Hard to tell if Mitch is running 650b.
If you compare that front wheel to the 650b Lapierre #4 next to it and then the 26" #21 with the BOS fork, I would say that he's running 650b. Interested to see these Ohlns fork internals!

In regards to trotting out a new Demo, I wonder if they're just off the back with getting a 26PLUS model ready for prime time given how they Frankenstein'd the new Enduro. And while I'm not a Spesh fan by any means, it would be high comedy if Gwin wins on a Demo. I guess freeride will finally be dead then...

Looks like Gwin was riding the same 650b Enduro proto he was on in South Africa. Sounds like the new Demo is some super secret stuff they haven't unveiled yet.
Just so I can have a good laugh I'm hoping that Spesh comes out with a new Demo that looks just like a Session.
