Do you have a fancy anodized aftermarket CINCH preload ring with a Ti bolt, yet?Received my new to me Race Face 165mm cranks earlier this week. Shop is swapping the spindle out to the appropriate one, and I hope to have it back today. With a bit of luck pedal strikes will become a distant memory now!
Not yet... was that a WolfTooth product? Can't recall. I did order a 16mm hex bit so I can swap them between bikes if needed though. I really like the flexibility (maybe configurability is a better word for it?) of these cranks.Do you have a fancy anodized aftermarket CINCH preload ring with a Ti bolt, yet?

I got the spindle from my shop. They gave it to me for free. I think it was lying around from someone going the other way. There wasn't an adapter with it....
IIRC the shorter spindle came with a 8->16mm hex adapter

Thanks!Woah! That looks great!
Yeah, I am struggling with that now. I need the frame to survive in east coast roxx for longer than 2 years. You gonna do frame protection while it’s pristine?
PROTIP. remove lower bashguard. install a strip of mastic tape underneath, replace bashguard. or else it will crack with the first rock strike. also a strip of mastic between the bash and the shuttle guard helps to shrug off rox.
Do try and keep it flawless it's gorgeous...Not sure it frame protection does anything except look like shit in 4 years.
This was my dad's take on his car lol...The dirt I never wash off my bikes cover up all the dings and scratches. I do protect the frame from cable rub.
When's it getting built up?My bikes aren't garage queens and I believe in the magic powers of a dirty bike, too. I need to protect some of the exposed areas as my previous frame is cracked all over the place and I don't witsh to repeat that experience anytime soon.
You know there are bikes still made out of aluminum right?Yeah, I am struggling with that now. I need the frame to survive in east coast roxx for longer than 2 years.
When life gives you a limited choice of warranty replacement frames, you grab that one frame that happens to be available. I should have asked them to have it repainted in matte black, too.You know there are bikes still made out of aluminum right?
No carbon, no matchy tire brands, no AXS, no motor.....how are you going to win the Biergarten challenge with THAT????After inhaling all of your wisdom posted above I did this.
New frame and front wheel, all hail the mx wheels craze.
First ride in, stoke level at 11/10. Always thought the Reign to be quite good at the pedal efficiency game coming off a Pitch in 2017 but the Titan is in another league. Never touched the Lok lever and I did a pretty nasty uphill on purpose.
Will report back when I have a few rides on it.
I like the lines on that bike....makes me wanna go ride urban and park..After inhaling all of your wisdom posted above I did this.

By bringing all the Bier to the trails and make them the Biergarten, maybe? No carbon, no matchy tire brands, no AXS, no motor.....how are you going to win the Biergarten challenge with THAT????
The TS brakes offset it a bit, but still.
Haha, I guess my medium frame would suit you just right as an urban or park frame. But they have an XL on offer.I like the lines on that bike....makes me wanna go ride urban and park..
Nope, aluminium horse. Is that an Iron Horse?
