So bought a 2015 intense 951 Evo literally new from a guy who hung it on his wall...
Kept the fox 40 float it had cause it's flawless...
Swapped in a 2018 rc2c damper I had and gutted the shit air stanchion side...
Did a Evol air and new stanchion on it ordered a decal kit for it. I'll keep it for the 951 for days I feel like taking of the 38 and don't feel like riding m9.

Bullcrew buying stuff like there is no tomorrow :triniti:
Got to get back up to speed ..this is just getting it personalized a little...the m9 is perfect and if it isn't then it's so close to perfect now I'm beyond content....AND DONE...(Maybe some color added)
I am going to speed along to get the 951 to fill the void of use below m9...Hope to get it as close to perfect for me as it's big brother ..

I spent a good 3 days laying out the pros and cons of all the options and ended up going this route. It's gonna be awesome.
So how is that different than a Bomber?

Pic of my Bomber CR with Faux air valve for reference:

Aside of a slightly different mold they look damn near identical. Fox aquired marzocchi so my guess is they keep certain things to themselves...buddy has a newer marzocchi fork and it performs pretty amazing..he got rid of his fox 36 factory for it....

It literally is a zen time for me...I like to get lost in the process and love doing it...love suspension as well it's like a Lego lol....
Yeah, I love wheels. Suspension is cool too, but I could do w/o the oil everywhere! :)

Tell me more about this ‘faux air valve’. What does it actually do/not do?
It does exactly what the dipshit needle-valve thing does, except now you can use a regular shock pump to pressurize the IFP instead of the dipshit needle valve setup. You can order them from Dougal's Shockwerks in NZ. Takes a long time to get here though, so it's not fast. I got one for this and one for one of my DPS air shocks.

If you are thinking about rebuilding/revalving, I would strongly think about it first. That is one key part, but you'd need a hell of a syringe and the fitting to do a proper bleed. I did an immersion bleed which is fine, but it's a crazy PITA and messy. There's also something funky about how the shock goes back together with the rebound needle and how it presses up against the valving. All in all it's possible at home...but it's clear it wasn't intended.

And now that the weather has turned been thinking I need to head East for some rides.
DAMMIT. I have been pedaling around in my driveway with the boot on. Gimme a couple weeks and I can give you some tours around here. Or it would be fun to meet up at Manashtash. My buddies built all that and I don't know it very well. I could probably arrange a tour for us if we planned effectively.

Now that I am playing with this shock, the preload collar detents are pretty cool too.
I've seen that on more shocks these days, my EXT has it, Push has it. I've never thought this was a problem, but I guess for max sensitivity it makes sense, so you can back off to just barely touching (that's how I have the EXT set up).

Limited availability led me to try the jenson house brand Foundation pedals. This and perhaps the fact that I’ve been watching Foundation on apple tv. Seem ok at first glance. Already sharpied the name off… did the tires again too while I was at it. Aaaahhhh, better.

I hate it so much but I can never get the wheel combos I want.
Yeah I scan all the time for stuff...love my fr1950 hoops... I can get i9 , but I want hadleys and semi cramic bearings again...there's alot out there I am just going to build destroy repeat...

I think I'm going to build a set for Enduro and pedalling with wife I'll go lighter wide and I'll find a set of hubs, run a couple of spokes to offset color and do alloy nipples...maybe powder coat rims and redecal...

Haha, I have an XM481 on the front with a red Hadley hub, rear is a Flow something with a black Syntace hub, parts and colour matching is not my thing, my bike stings the eyes.

I believe those use the FR570 rims (awesome rims!), now updated as the FR560 also.
My favourites for the big bikes.
