Thank you .It took a while and I ended up using a local metal finishing shop to finish the job. Striping the paint was not fun ,it took 2 days to get it ready to polish.
I just hope it never breaks ,it has all new pivot bearings and should last a long time.luckily there were no signs of stress on it once I got the paint off.
Later E.C.

Very nice :) WHat is the reason you do not put the remote reservoir on the downtube ? I looks like it will take quite some dirt behind the seat
it was like that when i bought it and i am a lazy man

i have contemplated moving it, but it has not been a problem and i have bigger fish to fry. it does get dirty though. fortunately i don't ride in much mud where i live.

Oh man, that must have been a lot of work. I thought about painting mine when I got it but decided against it due to the amount of work involved. Not to mention that she has a nice paint job to begin with. Polished looks really really nice though! Very nice!

Now those two bikes are probably some of the coolest rider-owned non-show bikes I've ever seen. I bet they're fun on the downhill, but not much for pedaling, eh? I think if I got on one of those bikes, I'd instantly turn pro ;)

Knuckleslammer,
How come you have a small SC fork on that Brooklyn? Isn't that one of those MotoLinks or something like that, with gobs of travel and made to take uncanny abuse? If so, you ought to put a real fork on it and ride it where it should be. That thing was made for the woods, not the street

Okay, so fine, I decided to check out the bike so I wouldn't be so horrendously ignorant. I just couldn't remember the name, but it's a Race Link, correct? Okay, ingorance potential #1 gone.
It has 9" of travel, so if that's meant for street, then you must have different streets in Denmark than we do in the States. 9" of travel is meant for DH and freeride. No more ignorance #2.
Now, as to that single crown fork, it looks like it has 5", maybe 6" max of travel. That bike, as previously stated, is for DH and FR, and with 9" in the back, should you really be putting such a fragile-looking and low travel fork on the front? I guess it doesn't matter if you're not actually doing anything with the bike that it was meant for, but then why the Race Link? Every other picture of that bike has a DC fork on it.
Really confused about your ignorance statement RockyMt21...
