Home made pasta night. Fettuccini pasta from scratch and sauce from scratch (diced tomato, red onion, garlic, sliced banana squash, sliced baby bella mushrooms, fork shredded chicken breast, assorted spices).

But it’s 50 degrees and raining, and I have no truck.

oh this is good. Shrimp sauteed in butter, garlic, habanero, spices on home made spinach fettuccini covered with crumbled fetta cheese and lightly drizzled with olive oil.
That looks alright. Made this steak salad this evening, accompanied by caprese, fresh strawberries & blackberries, and some Olathe sweet corn.
Pickling some jalapenos and zucchini. Roast beets. Peanut butter frosting on a freshly made cake donut with bacon sprinkles.

Oh. I thought it was peak ‘surplus Zuchinni’ time again.
So while out walking. I saw a sign that said "Free basket of goodness". I assessed the situation. And felt I was worthy. So I walked around the corner and got my grocery bag. I got cukes, grape tomatoes, a eggplant and 2 zucchinis. I left $5.
Ok, the order is way off there.
Spinach pasta with mushroom, onion, parmesan, and ricotta filling. Side of chunked up heirloom tomatoes.
Are those ‘deconstructed’ raviolii?

If you have a noodle bowl, why not a potato salad bowl?

Made these porkchops last night with grilled corn on the cob and a salad. I "mistakenly" brined them for about 36 hours instead of the recommended time... so they were a *wee* bit too salty.
Herb rubbed beef short ribs slow cooked in a Dutch oven covered with a Blackberry Chocolate Mole sauce served with black beans, Adobo rice and roasted garlic
Beautiful, messy, delicious breakfast.
