The patent would be for having multiple main pivot locations. You could pull the main pivot bolt and move it to a different one.

I use the SS for trail building and weeds/bushes/tumbleweeds get sucked into derailleurs and kills them. Regular SS just eats all that stuff.

Cool idea but the rear sensor mount requirements could be problematic. No problem if it works for the bike you have now and you don't plan on changing frames for a long time, but if you have multiple bikes or tend to swap frames fairly often you're painting yourself into a corner.

We can see the shim stacks on the piston. The fancy thing here is the ‘piston rod extension’ and is the box fixed to piston A and the shaft. The blue arrows are compression/rebound damping through the piston and around the shims. The green arrows are fluid flow for the small chatter, which moves the piston B until it hits a wall. I don't understand how that thing is doing what it says it does...
LSC flow that is traditionally free flowing with only the restriction created by the needle.
On this "creation" LSC flow seems to have now to fight against the friction of the IFP... How can that improve high-frequency, low-amplitude performance without giving up big-hit performance ?
Or is there something else going on within the IFP? I don't get these wavy red arrows...
