No you wouldn't! I roasted the almonds before chopping them into bits for the topping. That gives it a nice crunch.
Raw almonds run through me like sharp shards of glass. I guess there is an enzyme in them that doesn't agree with a lot of people. Roasting them breaks it down into something more harmless.

Would definitely make me sweat, but I suppose it's something of a consolation knowing it'll fly just fine on 3/4 engines.
It should be able to fly on just two. Even with just one the airplane would still have power and controlled flight would be possible. Depending on payload probably unable to maintain altitude so a controlled landing would be possible if an airport was close enough.
