I have an XTR square taper BB that will outlast the cockroaches.
Is it one of the fully rebuildable ones with the needle bearings? Those were cool.
I've had really good luck with Phil Wood bearings modern external bearing BBs.
Just ride less will you and stop breaking your stuff.

When I was a little kid we called the cops Bulls. I am not sure why. Det Sgt Stephen Simmonetti, everyone feared him. He knew all our dads. Most cops would chase you 1 or 2 blocks. Not him. He would never give up. He would poke you with his nightstick and if you put your hands up to block him he would give you a couple of learning knots.
