Ahh go on, tell us what you really think.JCL has been an annoying prick since his first post on this site. It's best to just ignore the retard.
Actually I made a great statement but since you obviously didn't see the footage of Blenkinsop coming over the line in MSA, 12 places behind his rookie team mate and riding past him in a little crybaby rage, their is little point in me going on about it. Especially since it's not in the Freecaster Highlights. If I were his manager I'd have told him to grow up as he's representing a brand, not his ego.haha... that's funny
I guess you now me about as well as you know Sam B, and every other thing you spew BS about on here.
you made an idiotic statement and a bunch of people called you out on it. instead of admitting fault or just shutting up you counter with more BS and just dig yourself in deeper and deeper.
thanks for trolling on RM, but you should just go home to pinkbike
You ever raced? Ever crossed the line after an disappointing run? The last thing on your mind is whats happening around you. During a race run, I have no recollection of trackside spectators (cow bell, whistles, camera flashes and all) or other distractions. This focus stays for a few minutes after crossing the finish for me.Actually I made a great statement but since you obviously didn't see the footage of Blenkinsop coming over the line in MSA, 12 places behind his rookie team mate and riding past him in a little crybaby rage, their is little point in me going on about it. Anyway if you agree or not it was still the only exciting post in the usual 'oh were will he go' Espec pro lover fanboy crap you get on here every week at this time of year.

Well I can assure you 'oh so privileged one' that the vast majority of people weren't there, they were watching the Freecaster footage. Professional athletes are (in others sports at least) required to act in a manor that represents the brand, especially when TV crews are around. If not people will form their own interpretation of events. I assure you that is what happened to a number of people viewing the footage as we all don't have the cool pro inside information Mr President of the UCI.you are right... i missed it on TV. why? because I was standing right there
sorry buddy, but when you are a top level racer and make have a bad run in WC it is not your responsiblity to highfive everyone for what they did. This is the highest level of the sport and these guys put everything they have into their runs and training. DH is one of those unique sports where your team mates are your competition so that plays a part.
and freecaster missed his "little crybaby rage" because it never happened... he crossed the line after a a bad run and just rode out the entire finish arena displeased with himself most likely without even seeing who was in the hotseat, or looking to see his placing as he knew it was awful.... guess what he was not the only one to do it.
what you also missed was the fact the Sam came back over to the truck where Gwinn was sat in the hot seat a few minutes later to cheer him on...
I can guarantee you that Damien did not even think anything of it, nor did Gwinn.
but apparently you have formed a complete personality analysis from the 4 seconds of television.
give it up... the statement you made it one of the most uninformed and idiotic posts on this site. just back away quietly
the more you flame on and try to justify yourself the worse you look.

So I guess this is like the rumour of Steve Smith in Schladming throwing his bike down in finish area and having a hissy fit right?
One retarded magazine writer who WASN'T there, made it up and ran with it. Since then those of us who were there have been trying to set the record straight. Meanwhile only the rider suffers due to someone propagating BS.
You simply have a different interpretation of events. I'm bored. Until the next timejust like the majority of the people on this message board have come to realize you are a complete idiot who just comes on here to troll and throw baseless accusations at people, products, etc with absolutely no clue as to what you are talking about, or who you are talking about (or to)
anyone whether in person or via the TV who even noticed or gave a second thought to what you think you saw are in the vast minority... you are just wrong.
and it is very childish to turn jealousy into insults
oh and remind me again... what did Sam do that was unprofessional or damaging to the brand? it is not his job to drop everything after a terrible run to go celebrate with his teammate after qualifying 4rth and blowing his run
There is nothing to interpret. You are just wrong. PS: I was also there. You simply have a different interpretation of events. I'm bored. Until the next time
There you go JCL i fixed your lil boo boo for ya..... an i hope the next time is not for a long timeYou simply have the right interpretation of events. I'm boring. Until the next time

I am correct, since I was his mechanic. And it was minor that was no ones fault, had in fact been hit. But, as well can all see clearly due to this speculative thread, as soon as people see something wrong, people immediately e-engineer the whole thing figuring out what the problem with and that it was obviously flawed. Regardless of the reasoning, companies never want broken bike parts seen. We all know it happens, but still not good "press." Basically it is something teams always try and conceal when it happens. Just never looks good.Zman, assuming you are correct. What is the big deal about a broken part, its not like a frame snapped on the welds, im guessing a derailleur or flat? Does a derailleur that got smashed into a rock really give that much bad publicity? i only ask because i wouldn't think twice about a broken part, (that he still was able to finish on)
