wow now those are some kickass shots there highrevs. im deffinatly diggin them man.
just to keep with the spirit of a photo thread.
thats a voodoo bike and my guess would be 18-55 or a fixed 28 lens.....maybe a telezoom at 110 also to get the narrow depth of field....What bike? What lens?
I like.
Voodoo Shango, my latest project. What bike?
Yeah. Thats what I want to know. What f-stop?low f-stop also for next to no d-o-f...nice studio style photos
good lighting, minimal shadows - nice!
My guess is the macro feature on the lens is aiding in the low d.o.f....
Yeah, its super shallow. Especially for 6.3 but macro makes sense.Yeah, macro at f2.8 with that lens is crazy shallow and thanks for the props. I have not spent much time using studio lights, so Im kind of in a learning curve.
I picked up the lights through a friend. It was his old gear and I got a pretty good deal on them.Yeah, its super shallow. Especially for 6.3 but macro makes sense.
I like the studio stuff a lot. Where did you get your lights? It doesnt look like a ghetto setup at all, you must have laid down a little $$$
Those pics are great! My son will soon be 3..........and the wrestling matches are definately gaining intensity!pics: don't have any riding pics today but i do have 2 cool frame grabs from our weekly family UFC fight.
Yeah, I just set the camera on sport mode when Steven was shooting, it was a weird light situation for sport mode with the backlighting, and Steven didnt know how to compensate. If I get motivated I'll photochop it later.damn...that shoulder tap would be a fantastic shot if it had been well lit!!!
Yeah, those boards worked well. Its still pretty slippery though, especially after hitting it a few times.that new hip is friggin rad! did you like the little plank boards i put down so that you don't sink into the wall so bad?
so....alex, jon....your phone broke or something? oh yeah...where are my gloves foo!
