"It", GUDooHoo? We accomodated for two riders in the shipment. Oh well, you can just send the other one back.

CC, will do.

Siko, thanks for giving me the image of your very large person dressed up like Shirley Temple. Straw hat and lollipop too.

xyP, I'm not a sadist. If I had my way there would be live stream video from the shop 24/7.

Sorry, "It" equalled "the beautiful hand crafted steel piece of art work that some would call a frame". You'd have to cut my hands off before I'd let go of either one.

Hey all, First post for me. Just saw the frame on Dirt. Here's something I'd been kicking around for a while;

Haven't sorted out the linkage on it yet, but funny how similar it is to the superco. Bit of a bummer really :banghead:

Beautifull!

Thanks for posting it so early in the day, I was afraid I was gonna be refreshing my browser for the rest of the day!

The BB sounds a bit low, but the HTA is fine. I've ridden the 09 Commencal with 63,5 and it feels awesome. Looking forward to see this bike in real life. No one gets christmas presents from me this year :lighten:

maybe I'm getting old, but the thought of a non-triangulated tubular cromo swingarm doesn't give me much confidence. Something something cracks, something something flex.

@Sandwich, Never ridden the BMW bikes, but I use a similar design but with some very key differences. No cracks and stiff enough. Those who have been/are on them do not feel they are flexy. Sexy yes, but not flexy. One guy has put 4 seasons on his. I weigh 195lbs geared up and can't say I feel they are flex to where it is noticeable or negative.

If you look at most of the high pivot frames like Commencal's, Norco, Deviate, and others, they are single pivot frames using a swing arm in the shape of a triangle. They are not a "triangulated" swing arm. Canfield and the Dark Owl are true triangulated rear ends. Stiffness is achieved by the linkage on these high pivot frames. Low pivot designs also employ this it is just reversed. Either on can be flexy or stiff depending on a number of factors like length, wall thickness of material, shape, etc.

I Ran into Doc up at Deer Valley this summer. He was ridding and Evil and just hanging out. He is still making the DJ Frames but not the DH bikes.

I didn't know they went bust 'til a few weeks ago, they were offering to buy back a specific frame model on FB a few months back.
They made some pretty cool looking bikes, shame they couldn't keep going.
