I don't think he'll make the team as a quarterback. If he makes the team, he'll most likely be used as a running back.

If he makes the 45 man roster, I could see them lining him up in the backfield inside the 10 next to Vereen or Ridley. If nothing else, it would force the defense to spread out just becuase the potential to hand off or snap the ball directly to him is there.
How about Tebow and Hernandez both in the backfied at the same time?
He could also help the Pats defense in practice in weeks before playing someone that runs a wildcat or zone-read offense.
