I am not saying you need a new chainring but ...
The teeth on this ring are tall and shaped like shark fin to begin with, so it may look a bit more worn out than it actually is. But it is getting close to retirement time. It has 2060 miles on according to Strava.

What is that ring? I see a RF cinch interface but those teef are asking for trouble, TBH.
KA Engineering. Honestly I didn't give much thought to the teeth design. I bought it because of...

1) its aesthetics reminding me of 360 Challenge Stradale BBS rims
2) hard anodizing (which at this point, I don't believe mine was, even though the packaging was labeled as such)
3) slightly different offset for better chain line

It worked like any other chain ring I've used in the past, didn't experience any chain suck.

In the bathroom, fighting a battle
Our trails are starting to get covered in 'leaves' too. JBP's old friends were being extra naughty today.

Fuck those things, have 2 spines stuck in my left hand from last nights ride. If anybody has a good method of extraction, I'm all ears.

After punching a cactus and while waiting for horses to clear out I took a shitty pic.

I don't know of any particular effective method myself.

I will say I really like Leatherman PS4 I carry in my pack. Its pliers are pretty effective pulling out spines, even tiny fuzzy ones as long as you can see them.

I've had mixed results with duct tapes. There were a couple times I had to channel my inner emo and cut the affected area open with a razor blade.
