Was able to ride our trails this morning while other networks around are fighting the snow with a bunch of machineries. Always cracks me up.

New Blizzak's installed. It's snowing today. Fishtailed all over the place on the way to the shop. Drove nice and smooth and in control on the way home. $1200 well spent I'd say...

So I DO have the 10 plies. Tire disposal, sales tax, and installation are part of all here too, that's not unique. That's what the heavy ones cost when converted to freedumbux. I bought them 3 years ago so maybe I'm just in the dark regarding this wonderful post-covid pricing

Reddit has their ban evasion bot after me now. Making some new accounts again. At one point they were banning every account that connected from my work due to my prolific shit posting.

It's these ones: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/bridgestone-blizzak-ws90-winter-tire-for-passenger-cuv-4087940p.0073661.html?loc=plp&rq=225/65R17

225 65R17 they were $212 each. then it was $200 labour, and $100 for an alignment. And tax.

I might have gotten a better deal shopping around a bit, but I really needed them this week. I've been stuck twice in the last couple of weeks, and we have an exchange kid staying with us this week. I didn't want to risk a) accidents with someone else's kid caus' I'm a dumbass that didn't properly check tire wear on his car, and b) not making it out to activities caus' I was stuck in the snow...

where the trails are
I spoke too soon. Pipe burst in the garage, flooded everything. Water is off, awaiting emergency plumber guy to save the day.
:disgust1: fuck.
magic man was just finishing up replacing the split copper pipe, and ANOTHER one splits. FML. He's all done, cleaned up and out. $900 later doesn't even seem "that" bad all things considered.

Chili is excellent so far. It'll stay on simmer for the day/night, and tomorrow is when it'll really be good to go.

Dancin' over rocks n' roots!
Afternoon boys & girls (are there any girls still on here). Snowing and quite slick coming home. No delay or early dismissal, just cancelled all afterschool activities and told everyone to get home safe. I only live 6 miles away so it doesn't matter much to me. Think I'll make some dinner and hit the hot tub. Still trying to get rid of this cold. COVID tests say no but I am not 100% convinced so masking just in case, which was nice today because my room was cold.
Also, broke up a girl fight in the bathroom today to...like a boss; arm length escort of silence to get both to the office and kept them apart. SRO came to help but really just told kids to get out of the way, that I had it handled. :panic:
