That's on the race course?pics dont do this one justice. its just a tad bigger than the previous one
good thing my cassette goes to 11!I heard somebody was practicing the triple last weekend, and you have to go seriously fast, he said he was pedaling pretty hard with 36 12 and was just able to get it
Good times. But unfortunately these guys won't be coming this year.then everyone to the Vernon Inn for the traditional after party hang out.
yeah, its pretty much where the original step-up was, but much much taller and steeper. That's on the race course?
Does look like a nice spot to spectate
so an actual legit berm after it?steeper than it looks too. step up, to left hand berm to step down. pretty cool. looking forward to seeing some one try clear/triple it.
can see the whole thing from the fire road too.
a large 1 at that, the berm is built on top of a "cliff" and the berm ends, and you fall out of it into a nice landing ramp. its about 2 feet down and 3 out.so an actual legit berm after it?
saturday and sunday are the days that matter and itll be perfect weaterLooks like its going to thunderstorm thursday and friday. Looks like the course is going to get a little gnar.
Ulmer is making a special appearance again at Diablo???I will be hanging out in the Gravity Project/Xprezo pits on Sunday.
I already cleared/tripled it, but only twice, you need so much speed for it and my suspension bottoms out on the lip of the jump. probably gonna be much easier for the prossteeper than it looks too. step up, to left hand berm to step down. pretty cool. looking forward to seeing some one try clear/triple it.
can see the whole thing from the fire road too.
looks like the same as last year. i thought there were some new sections
who??Well, David K. is out...heard he broke his foot in practice today :~
Not a case of the landing has to be. Riders just have to judge their speed! It was gusty winds at times as well, certainly wasn't helping.so the landing has to be either longer or shorter?
Ahhh thanks. I heard it was his foot :~ Either way that hurts.DK broke his toe not his foot.
