So the kid who was medevaced is ok! Out cold for 15 mins, and has a jacked up broken something in his arm, but was walking the course and filming today not much worse for wear. He's a trooper!

Didn't get airlifted. I ended up going down probably 20 minutes after that kid. Last I knew, I was in the pits waiting in a truck to get taken to the hospital when the paramedics rushed us to move since they had gotten that kid down and deemed him as critical. Hope whoever he is, he made it out ok!

Ended up leaving the Umass Worcester ER around 4am this morning. The ortho surgeon opted not for surgery (although it's still a possibility). They ended up giving me some super trippy drugs for the reduction that I did not respond well to. Apparently i was speaking in tongues, needed restraint and was doing things that these doctors only ever read about in text books  . It was a pretty long night, and I'm hopeful that I'll get through this without requiring surgery.

I'd just like to thank any of the riders or crew that helped me while I was down yesterday. Thank you :thumb:

I feel like I am reading the thread from national championships last year.
True, but besides myself and a small handfull of people....not many of us were crashing on those. I hit all three fine in practice/quali's but ate it on the race run.

Also, at the Nats I think having a double was nicer because you HAD to clear it...there was no option of landing to flat and hoping for the best...it was comit and go!!

But ya, wish I was there...seeing all my friend's photos of the course on facebook makes me wish I was there right now!!

qualifying is a seeding run for the finals and they only take the top 50 pros. there are around 130 registered according to the announcer guy.

As I recall it's pretty much the only race in the US that has actual qualifying right? Most of the ones I've been to have just been seeding runs...even the National Champs was just a seeding run.
