Hello Monkeys! Craigslist dreams do come true... I bought a c1950 Snap On tool box at a yard sale for $75.00, unfortunately the mechanic was an ignition specialist so I regretted the purchase and listed it on Craigslist for $200.00 local pick up only because it weighed 110 pounds. Two weeks later (yesterday) I was contacted by a guy on Florida who needed the front handle, emblem and small chrome strip for his restoration project. He offered me and additional $50.00 plus shipping to make it happen fast. Normally these kind of offers are total bullshit but this guy turned out to be legit - contact to cash was less than 12 hours and no stinking eBay fees.

Anyone want to buy 60 pounds of vintage ignition tools, sockets, files and rasps? I've already high graded them so they're gonna be cheap...

Look, we want you to express yourself, okay? Now if you feel that the bare minimum is enough, then okay. But some people choose to wear more and we encourage that, okay? You do want to express yourself, don't you?
how many pieces of flair does an extra e-bike battery count as?

It's a gold mine of Snap On, Proto & Plumb - just not the ones anyone uses anymore so perfect for aircraft wrenching. :thumb:
If Squeeb doesn't find them useful for his work toolbox, I have a good friend whose 11 yr old son is who is a wiz with small engine repair (mowers, atvs, snowblowers) who could take them off your hands and put them to good use...

I don't suppose you're going to try out the Trail 482 descent?
Had to look that up... Horseshoe Crick. We probably won't, just gonna ride the (known) good stuff on Trail #481. It does need to get explored at some point, but my sense is the preferred route will always be Canyon Crick.

if shipping wasn't stupid I'd take some of those files.
can't quite tell what's in box #2 except for those roach clips! Any pieces of brass / drifts in there?
Except for a couple round rasps the files are not worth the shipping, I believe there are 3 brass drift punches, assuming I actually know what a drift punch is. :D Box 2 contains a ton of outdated ignition tools that don't attract a lot of attention.

I say let the kid have the tools. Probably works harder than me anyway.

You never know. From the looks of 482 it drops elevation way faster. Which... you know, can be fun. :brows:

That's on my want to do list for a few weeks from now, may or may not happen.
You should make that happen.

Pro-tip: it's only a 1/2 day ride if you shuttle to the cemetery.
