Theyre still popular in the road and xc side of things.Because an e-bike is going to save the dumpster fire that is cannonade. The best thing they have done is retro paint from when they had relevance.

yeah, being a influencer is quite lucrative in these timesWeird how sponsorship has changed with the social media aspect. Guys who aren't racing/competing (at least not WCs/EWS or freeride comps) are still grabbing top sponsorship dollars for the whole lifestyle Insta influencer deal. There's top 10 WC riders who'd probably kill to have the support being offered to some of the recreational riders nowadays.

This is basically got bmx works, but with less money.Weird how sponsorship has changed with the social media aspect. i'm curious what a guy like bryceland is making compared to his racing buddies. doesn't seem to generate that much high profile content, yet (i assume) ekes a living (of sorts) noodling about on his bike. granted, his houseboat lifestyle probably isn't quite as spendy as someone who drives mclarens and builds mcmansions in socal.Weird how sponsorship has changed with the social media aspect. She'll get the inside scoop on some good meds!not DH related but...
Kate Courtney officially on Scott. Kind of mixed bag here. on one hand, it's weird to see the first US women's XC world champ in decades on a non US team. On the other hand, she's gonna be teammates with Nico and could learn a LOT from one of the greatest xc racers of all time. which could be a good thing with the next summer olympics in 2020.
So he works for adult beverages now?not world cup related but...
Lenosky on Reeb cycles.

"lordbummer" isn't the correct passwordSame speculation on the French side of things. There is even a website https://www.athertonbikes.com
If true, they have to race their own bikes and win!
You've not said too much...re: Athertons. The toilet sign logo is going away... and some more things I've been asked not to share. You heard it here first.
over on the vital thread someone pointed out brendo has some different sponsors vs the rest of the team (deity, TLD, ENVE, etc)How has this not been posted yet?! Brendan still on Scott (w/out Velosolutions) with Lucas, Payet and Cabirou. Seems like a solid team.

On Kenda and sounds like a team owner alsoSeems he's also off Onza tires.
Would also be a plus if they offer them in strong size.Late posting here but looks like Michelin is finally making some DH tires. A DH-ified version of WR2 side knobs, a bit more open tread and a bit more carcass beef would be amaze. Hopefully they are available before I'm too old to buy them....

On Kenda...
Shots fired"Gwin remarked that the M29's rear suspension felt so good that it made him think whether any of his previous DH bikes ever performed well. It will be interesting to see how he does with the Intense as the season progresses.

no.Speaking of WC and the UCI, isn't anybody else reading the allowance of different wheel sizes in the same bike as a prelude to an e-DH WC?
The Pinkbike article said that he can ride other tires if the crap Kenda puts out isn't up to par. It will be interesting to see if he rides Onza or Maxxis in the beginning of the season.
