Thanks, Hannah into 7th... he keeps putting it together better and better every year. Should be interesting next year. It would be great to see him winning more consistently, he's got the skills to do it for sure.

I always think that he used to be better and has slipped off in his "old age"....have to remind myself that he started winning when he was like 16.Thanks, Hannah into 7th... he keeps putting it together better and better every year. The flag of Australia was chosen in 1901 from entries in a worldwide design competition held following Federation. It was approved by Australian and British authorities over the next few years, although the exact specifications of the flag were changed several times both intentionally and as a result of confusion. The current specifications were published in 1934, and in 1954 the flag became legally recognised as the "Australian National Flag". The flag is a defaced Blue Ensign: a blue field with the Union Flag in the canton (upper hoist quarter), and a large white seven-pointed star known as the Commonwealth Star in the lower hoist quarter. The fly contains a representation of the Southern Cross constellation, made up of five white stars – one small five-pointed star and four, larger, seven-pointed stars.
So with the whole "Country's flag being on their helmet" thing...I've never seen that flag he's holding. Isn't the Aussie flag the same colors as their skinsuits?
I've seen what I assumed was the british flag...then I see Peat waving some other flag that's red and white and looks like a swiss flag...what the dealio?
Basic education? Last time i checked, my "basic education" in flags of countries I never visit and learned in 8th grade History class hasn't been called upon as a mortgage broker. Are you being serious?...........co much for basic education. T.
mmm... someone needs some education on things outside the US and A. Green and gold are the national colours of Australia, as proclaimed by Sir Ninian Stephen, the Governor General of Australia on 19 April 1984. The exact colours were specified as being Pantone Matching System numbers 116C and 348C. Green and gold are also the traditional team colours of Australian national sporting teams. Nearly every current Australian national sports teams wears "The Green and Gold", although the hues and proportions of the two colours may vary between teams and across eras. It is widely believed that the colours were chosen because they are the dominant colours of Australia's floral emblem, the Golden Wattle which is a dominant feature of the Australian Coat of Arms.So with the whole "Country's flag being on their helmet" thing...I've never seen that flag he's holding. Which would explain why I didn't know..considering I was in 8th grade when this change occured and my history book at that time was most likely 3 years old.mmm... someone needs some education on things outside the US and A.
