i'll stay with Ferrari's
Don't confuse the Corvette with a muscle car. They do try to make it do more than go in straight lines, at least the modern ones.N8 said:My all time personal favorite American muscle car is the 69 Dodge Charger R/T...

so I say they shut up! (untill they take one for a spin)
is this what you were talking about?Incubus said:For anyone who file-shares with Kazaa or the like, do a search on C6 corvette + Top Gear (the brit auto mag). They hate everything american on that show. They hated the corvette. Then their driver took the car for some hot-laps on the track that they test all of their cars on. The corvette was somewhere near the top 5 overall. Bested only by supercars costing 4 times as much.
That IS very impressive concidering the high $ cars its up against.steve45 said:is this what you were talking about?

the car was a f*cking rocket ship
That is the one I was talking about. I thought it ranked even higher but again it's more than respectable given the price. Also, the car tested wasn't the Z06, rather it had the base corvette powertrain making 400hp.steve45 said:is this what you were talking about?

Well the Koenisegg (sp?) CCR is the fastest super car in the world. It beat the F1 and some other ones I canl;t think of at the moment. Anyways I saw one for sale in Germany for 800 000 euros.
I gotta agree. Next to the Shelby Cobra, it's my dream machine.Brian HCM#1 said:Best Vette ever made IMO

Only a 4cyl, but at 1900lbs curb weight, you don't need much to get it going.
It is more of a tight track/road sports car.
It looks much better in person.

1973 Ford Falcon XB GT Hardtop / Coupe. This was a standard production model available in Australia from 1973 to 1976. What is that thing anyway? Some kind of Aussie Mustang II...?
