Does anyone have any information on this bike. How does it ride? geometry?Cost? Is it available in the United States? It looks really nice and I have heard some good things about it and want some more input.
Thanks, Ryan

I did a seardh already but couldn't really find any info on the geometry, pricing, availablility etc. I really would like to talk to someone who has ridden one to see how it rides.

I have a feeling it's going to be a little while before anyone over in the states will be able to get their hands on one.

They were still testing last time I heard. I wouldn't bank on having one at the begining of the season.

The Radical is still being tested...

There not being released untill March, so dont expect to see anything on them untill much closer to the date because Sunn isnt releasing any info on them at all. Dirt Magazine will be doing a review on the Radical soon, which will have ALOT of info on the frame. So look out for that, but apart from that i cant really tell you anything.

The only info i was given on the Radical and Kerns was the weights and prices. The only confirmed thing i know about the frames other than that is the name.

The pictures look promising though...

wow, that is one low-a$$ pivot

Not really, if you go to pink bike - look at the other side view, its pivot is just slightly rearward and at the same level as the top of the chainring, nothing groundbreaking. That frame is prolly the sweetest thing I've seen in the last few years, theres just something to be said for how simple they make it look, and hella light haha.

Im lucky enough to know the UK importer so I have 5 of the new Sunn range sitting in my house.

They are all really nice, including the road bike ( dont burn me for it, i never thought id ever say it either)

The forest jump HT is a lovely allday bike.

Dex, you're getting a Radical?!

What about your current DH rig?

Gah... you filthy bike whore, I envy you... 36.5 lbs. out of the box, and the geo looks pretty decent too. Wonder how she'll hold up to abuse? The design seems simple, yet effective.

Let us know how the assembly and ride time goes if you can.

yep, what we had in the works for this season still needs some more tweeking and refinement so Brad and i decided to rip the radicals and test them out. i will do a full report on it as soon as i get it.build will be super light but still burly (888sl ata, roco wc ti, 823 industry nines, juicy ultimate/code, xo, eatern ti cranks, slr seat etc etc)

i totally agree, lowering the stand over never hurts, i think it only helps, seems like a lot of wasted space in the front triangle. i still love the frame to a rediculous level though

it seems like the seat tube has to be that long so that there isn't too much tire buzz when the seat is slammed.

That is probably the large frame on that picture and 430mm is 16,9" and not 19" (if i've calculated correctly). The smaller frame is 14,9". That is not a high seat tube at all! Sadly the TT will probably be too long for me anyways.

And about ~13,5" BB, looking at the picture it looks like a pretty high BB, don't you think?

i think i read somewhere that they went with the set up so that they could make very small frames...
