is it still news?

AUDIO clips from sam and martin:

Sam being a freak ceased being news last season when he won worlds by 4 seconds while smuggling plums across the finish line.

Of course, it was fun as **** to watch this week (and no plums!), as well as exactly the type of drama the WC needs to get people excited again, so carry on. :busted:

Helloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo?

Damien Mermoud - 4.2 seconds quicker at the split than Hill in qualifying, when Hill stamped 15seconds into everyone else? No-one interested?!

:lighten: :clapping:
that's probably where sam crashed....the first half of the course....then he raged out and anally raped the second half of the course with no lube(or spit for that matter)

Random Fact About Sam Hill:

- All of Sam Hill's toes are big toes.

- Sam Hill does his power hours differently than most people. He drinks 5 shots per second, of pure ethanol.

- Until Taxes came along, Death and Sam Hill were the only constants in life.

- One time, Sam Hill impaled over 40 horses to make what he called an "authentic" Merry-Go-Round.

Good one!

Gotta put a  face about the racing in Switzerland. If all world cups were this dramatic, maybe they would have real TV cams all over on the course and it would be the 90's again.

Now for Hill... Good luck for everybody else, you could always try :nopity:

TV coverage would be great, even just basic mainstream media would be nice. I have not seen anything covering the sport from Yahoo to CNN and Sporting News...we just get tour news year round. Dope!!!!
Being a prior roadie even I get tired of the tour news.

What Sam Hill did here remindes me of Michael Schumachers first win for Ferrari in Barcelona? -96 when the rain was pissing down, everybody else were waaay back, and Michael were having so much fun he was skidding around intentionally just to have even more fun...

Might be an apt comparison, i like Hill's chin better though.

Nah dude, having seen both I'm with you. Schumacher in what were just plain silly conditions was absolutely awesome!

er oops, bit off topic now........er go Sam wooooO!
No way - Senna would've had Schumy for lunch (sigh).

That first lap - around the kraner (sp) curves.... he schooled them all in a far-inferior car - legend.

er.. yeah. sorry. Ra ra Sam Hill's the best blaa blaa...

Check out the difference between Sam's race bike... if you can see it (muddy bike) Vs. Sabrina's race bike (cleaner bike in background).... amazing how quickly the rain came in & changed the riding conditions only in a matter of hours!

what crankset is he running now?

no longer those piddly looking isis gravity lites, guessing he busted them because they were on his bike originally.

wonder if they are the new megaexo gravity lites (can't wait!!), or just big heavy gravity's..

yeah, i can't wait either....once i get those my bike will be around 36 lbs!!!!! ridiculous
my bike was too light so I added some brass balls under the saddle to add weight...

...plus I can always use extra gonads! :lighten:

if kidwoo follows me too close this summer - I'll release then and sack him! then again, he's always in front of me, so chances of that happening are pretty slim...

okay beer time..

just Santa Cruz...
doesn't look liek he ever sat down!
Yeah, of course he never sat down. Look at that disgusting seat! I wouldn't sit down either, gaa...ross. Sam Hill may be fast, but being dirty is not cool. Especially with a nice bike like that. Come on man, have a little respect you pampered pro brat! If I were Ironhorse I would tell him to clean that bike off before getting on the podium MR.. And just look at his outfit, white in a rainstorm? What did he shart in all of his hideous black and blue pants? Jeeeeeeez:disgust1:

Yeah, been waiting impatiently ever since I saw that thread... you positive that's them on sam's bike? Because the 83mm version hadn't been made yet, at the time of that last thread anyway.

If they are on sam's bike already, i'm guessing it won't be long before they start showing up :). Anyone got any pics of his bike from champery sans mud?

Oh c'mon, and Schumachers -96 Ferrari wasn't far inferior to the Williams (although probably one of the best looking F1's before it got the high nose)? The -97 was also that and he would have won ;) the championship in that car if he just hadn't done the same kamikaize manouver in the -94 and -95 season.. :busted:

Totally agree otherwise, Sam Hill is the mutts nuts.
