Your rule is over... You have been deposed and sent into exile.

It's just after midnight here and I've only just arrived home from work, so just a small Oyster Porter then off to bed. :)

Just got back from Hashingo Zake cult beer bar.
Tonight we had the head brewer from Renaissance Brewery launch his new MPA beer, very nice, it will make an excellent summer beer, big hop hit on the nose then beautifully balanced malt comes through with a nice lingering hoppy (but not OTT) finish.
After that I had a hand pulled cask ale the Twisted hop challenger.
...... And now I'm sitting here having one of my home brews.... and it tastes like sh*t after those beauties. :(

I picked up 3x 4-packs of the Dogfish Head/Stone/Victory collaboration beer, Saison Du Buff. Had one of the Stone-brewed batch when I was out in California and through it was absolutely outstanding. I missed the Victory batch in our are by about a day (and am still mad about it).

Got some of the Dogfish Head batch, though, and it's awesome.

Really? I only had the Stone one, but wasn't that impressed. It wasn't bad, but it defiantly wasn't good.

DFH Indian Brown Ale, smuggled into Utah.

Damn. This stuff is tasty - doesn't really taste like a brown. More like the bastard child of an IPA and a mocha porter. The carmelized brown sugar definitely gives it some very coffee-esque undertones with a very balanced hoppy end. Much more drinkable than a dense porter or stout, too - not like you're chugging a milkshake by any means.
