Boeing was implementing Wi-Fi and other personal communication use as something exclusive, whether this was already released in other markets such as SE Asia remain u/k - it was in the works for the end of CY2013 and there is a larger Aircraft than the 777, the 787 and dollars to sense would want to see such a courtesy as visible as it can be.

I've been cracking up at the frequent use of the term "sea trash" in the press. It sounds like something from Always Sunny.

Not my department, but I'm guessing it has a lot to do with the price you're willing to pay for the privilege of flying a domestic airline.
There is a long and extensive list of mechanical/electrical issues I'm legally allowed to pretty much ignore, out side of making a note of it a placing a sticker in the cockpit.
what's with the spiraly thing on the cone of the turbine?
So you can tell visually that the engine/prop is spinning. Teh ramp is a super noisy place, you might not necessarily be able to hear it.

edit: Also, at speed, it really is kind of hard to tell the difference, especially with a turbine. On a big turbine, you get close enough to be sure you might already be F.O.D.
