yep - nomad is borked - rear chainstay buckled and top tube is also compromised, and they've not been a pleasure to deal with in the warranty process . . . so time to make a change for the radder. nomad parts should all transfer over - will just be 5mm short shocked. might drop the fork down...

I don't really see how electric RDs can get moar borked than cable actuated ones but understand the sentiment. That said, I looove my E-shifter from Archer.

booked pre-xmas trip to snowshoe last night. hooray crappy eastern early season skiing! hope my knee is feeling un-borked by then. still feels funky. it's ok in straightforward, relatively linear pedaling motions for riding, not sure about lateral pressure, quick shifts, etc. from skiing. :think:
