I'm 100% positive that your frame is a 2006 Sunday Factory. It is one of the USA built frames. All the stickers on that frame are original. It is not the World Cup--those were produced overseas. Not sure where you got the idea it's a WC. Good luck with your rebuild.
I'm doing the same search you are right now. I wear a size 14 5.10 Impact. Been using Tioga MX-Pro pedals for years but am looking for something different now.
Thought the Point1 Podiums would be good for me. Tried a set on a friends bike yesterday and the felt narrow due to the lack of...
There are only a handful of union shops in town. There is also some refinery welding/fab contractors that you can look into if you want to go that route.
There are quite a few fab shops here, but the problem is a large number of them are really slow. I've worked with guys from just about every shop in the area so I have a pretty good idea whats out there.
Ershigs: union fab shop for sheetmetal and misc industrial in Bellingham (they lost 2...
Are you serious with the recycling bit? I can always go throw them in the ocean if they break.
Carbon has come a long way since the days of snapping for no good reason. This is actually the first time I've felt comfortable enough to trust something such as a carbon handlebar. The fact is...
The small vibrations are what I'm hoping a set of carbon bars will dampen. My thought being road bikes with a carbon rear end vs. aluminum rear end feel very different vibration wise. Thanks for the help.
I'm considering making the switch to a carbon bars and am wondering what the advantages are. I am somewhat concerned with weight, but wouldn't make the switch strictly based on weight. I am more concerned with differences in vibration dampening?
I'm considering purchasing a set of Easton...

The fork was taken off a brand new bike----never ridden. Haven't even removed the protective film on the lowers.

Tioga MX Pro pedals---working well for my big feet.
One thing to consider about traction pin removal with pins from the inside. If you have a bent or mangled steel pin that has to go through your aluminum pedal body, the aluminum threads are going to be stripped. With a pin that is exterior...
I've been thinking about making some 83mm XT cranks for the Sunday. Being a welder/fabricator I'm thinking of lengthening the spindle 10mm in the middle (100% weld with backer strip in joint)-- TIG weld. The problem will be clamping the spindle straight to prevent warping during cooling...
I'll race a few slaloms on it, but works primarily as my girls all around bike.

I have seen the 2008 factory frame already---but didn't think to look at the lower link while I was in the shop. Just wondering what the clearance issues are like on my 2006 linkage---Do you know if the new link had to be heavily modified or just a little trimming?
I intended to buy the Vivid when it became available, but didn't know there was a fit issue. Any idea how much the new link will cost?
Would like to see how much the 2008 lower link differs from past years. Does anyone have a picture of the 2008 lower link?
The Tioga MX pedals are still available--just an updated version. I've been riding them for the past 4 months and they are really nice. The platform is large, but still a light pedal.
Just purchased the MG-1 for the SX----haven't even ridden them yet.
I'm 6'3" and ride a medium 17" Sunday. I don't find the bike feels too small---I actually feel more comfortable on the medium Sunday than I did on my large Turner DHR.
