Would it be a terrible thing (er... would i be disappointed) if, in defiance of everyones advice, I still went with a lightly built mbuzi strictly based on the fact that I really like it in that green? It couldn't be any worse pedaling than a bullit?
Plus, part of it is that I am...
Thanks, great answer. I didn't expect to actually find someone that rode both.... So its looking to be the ST for me then - I am sure it will find its way to diablo or whatever here and there, but this is meant to be mostly an all mountain do it all (but not too big) type deal for me...
Looks nice. Real nice....
But... I realize you have it set up more for gravity, but I am going back and forth between a mbuzi and a shova st and I am curious how it pedals? If I can get an extra inch of suspension with a beefier build, not much extra weight, and the clincher for me, a higher...
Look into the Garmin Rino GPS series. Does some of that stuff in one oway or other already. Otherwise:
1) How often do you go biking?
2-3/week
2) What type of riding do you do? (xc, fr, dh, etc)
all mountain? i dunno. a little of everything i guess.
3) Have you ever used GPS while...
I snapped a few here and there here: http://www.cloud.dreamhosters.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=15

I threw together this video of the pro dh course:
http://www.cloud.dreamhosters.com/uploaded/46a6c31c17ce6.mov
The idea was to hike the course and film a rider on every bit it. I got 90% probably. Came out ok I suppose. Not the greatest work ever.
And here's all the photos I took over the...
Agreed, that looked amazing. The rest of the action sequences looked like they chopped up some soda cans and filmed someon shaking them vigorously.
Overall though, it was good I suppose. Though I have to say Die Hard 4 was badass, blew transformers out of the water IMHO :)
Ahhhhhh, the letter 2.
I plan to get this movie, then host a movie night in my back yard and go for a night ride.
I am fairly sure its not going to be good, but hey, its something to do and you usually can't expect much from slasher films in the first place!
I have taken him out a few times around our local dog park (big open field) and he does ok apart from attacking the front wheel if you try to pass him.
I have been meaning to get him in the woods to see how he does but I keep coming up with excuses: its hunting season, fear of all the...
At work we have a simpsons pinball party machine and that thing ruled! (I say ruled because it needs a tune up and is currently somewhat unplayable)
I did enjoy the south park pinball as well.
Pinball, good.
I saw them play maybe 5-6 years ago (maybe more?) under the name "Soul Brains" at Toads Place in CT - something about Madonna screwing them or something so they had to play under a different name. I forget the whole story.
But they sounded good, started strong and rocking... then the...
Would you say its worth drive from centralish Connecticut? I am interested though...
Edit: Sept 9th is the day I am getting married so I probably can't make this ride. perhaps a future tour?
Hey, there I am! :)
It was nice meeting and riding with you! A fun ride was had.
In case you missed it over yonder, I threw up our ride here - and the map of it is here
I got a ride going on sunday at meshomasic if you and your 29 inch wheels are looking for some hills and rock...
Spent my college years snowboarding Burke. Nice to see some pics of it ;) Nice pics, thanks for some nostalgia.
Kingdom trails were a only an idea back then, plus i was not into mtn biking....
