    Boxxer Team rebound issues

Hi yall. I recently recieved a 2010 Team. Unfortunately the lo-speed rebound adjuster doesnt work, and the norwegian importer cant get parts. So im wondering if anybody has been able to find exploded diagrams or service instructions for the rebound damper assembly. I have looked on srams...

Formula MeGa - The sh*t, or just sh*t?

I think i might have got the bleed right, but tho power aint there. I am suspecting that these brakes needs an immense amount of bedding in. By now they are sort of powerfull and modulates great, but i am not satisfied untill i can lock up the front with one finger while my butt is hanging over...

Marzocchi ATA knob for 07 888 sl ata

I dont think you can get that knob in red. But im not sure. The 08 model has got larger diameter stanchions, so i dont think that one will fit. Your best bet is to give marzocchi a call. Fred

I have done this, but without actuating the lever. Heading out to the garage to try it your way right now. Posting my results later. Fred

Formula MeGa - The sh*t, or just sh*t?

What youre saying is basically the root of my griefs. I cant get hold of saints, and my megas suck. The weird thing is that evereybody but me love the formulas. -C-: how long did it take you to get a perfect bleed? I have spent somewhere around 1hr on each brake, and gotten good but no where...

Formula MeGa - The sh*t, or just sh*t?

I think i finally got the rear working all right. Havent tested it on the trail yet, but first impressions are nice. Man these brakes are difficult to bleed, the front still suck balls. Might have glased the pads in an overly eager atempt at bedding them in. New pads and more bleeding tomorrow...

Formula MeGa - The sh*t, or just sh*t?

gemini2k: some pics of your setup would be a great help. Thanks. Oh, and i bleed them off the bike with the bleed screw on both caliper and MC facing up. Fred.

Formula MeGa - The sh*t, or just sh*t?

so i should be able to almost pull them to the bar on hard braking, but not quite? If this is the case i am suspecting something is up with my pads. I need a steep muddy ride, but being in Norway there is sh*itloads af snow ruining my plans. :disgust: Fred

Formula MeGa - The sh*t, or just sh*t?

jvnixon: yes i am using brand new formula rotors. Not complaining to much about the engagement point. The lack of power is my problem. Fred

Formula MeGa - The sh*t, or just sh*t?

Thanks a million guys, i have read most of the treads on the subject, both here and on mtbr. I thought the brakes came standard with sintered pads, but i could be wrong. I ordered a couple of spare sets of sintered pads with the brakes, will try them tomorrow morning. I havent tried the mud in...

Formula MeGa - The sh*t, or just sh*t?

I have just bought two pairs of formula mega brakes, one for me and one for the missus. I decided on these brakes after reading lots of rave reviews on the interwebs, and because i couldn`t get the new saints at the time. (Out of stock.) I was really looking forward to trying these brakes...

    Singlecrown Dorado

I owned one a couple of years back. In 2005 i think.....cant remember. And as woody points out this fork is as noodly as they get. Completely and utterly useless. The damper is great, but the chassi is just stupid.

Marz recalls some 2008 888RC3 and 888RC3WC forks

Knew they had it in 08, but didnt see it mentioned in the 09 specs, so i thought they ditched it. Oh, and it didnt work all that well in 08 either. Better, but no cigar. edit: the guys i know of with par trouble in 08 where on 66s and not 888s. Still not getting full travel.

Marz recalls some 2008 888RC3 and 888RC3WC forks

I have worked two and a half year as a mechanic in a bike shop, (head mech for the last year) and have rebuilt\modified a ton of forks most of them zokes during that time. So i know perfectly well how to service\rebuild a fork. Anyway; the ATA is so easy to rebuild that you wuold have to be a...

Marz recalls some 2008 888RC3 and 888RC3WC forks

I dont think it takes me more than 5 min to overhaul my 888ATA spring either. And i dont need an impact wrench to do it. The only problem is that after a rebuild the fork is still a POS. Basically (sp?) all the 888s up to and including 07 is great forks, but the newer offerings and especially...

    Pushed Roco

I have ben on a pushed ROCO the entire season, and I am very satisfied with the results. The result feels a bit like a avalanche chubie shock, but without the weight penalty. The shock track the ground heaps better, and the rebound action is greatly improved. The push upgrade have also...
