This project has been a while in the making, one of those things that was just going to be ready when it's ready. With some help from my friends at THE, I made some chainstay protectors. The pictures below are of the version for the dwDHR, the lower one also fits all Pivot bikes, from Mach 4 to...
Last weekend at Worlds I got a chance to visit with a lot of old friends who still travel the WC circuit. I spoke with quite a few riders, mechanics, and teams. It seems like almost everyone has something good to say about the last two races at Windham and Mont Ste Anne. Being born and raised on...
I remember when I first really decided that I wanted to get involved in mountain biking. Back in the day on the East Coast, circa 1999 or so, there was a pretty strong race series called Trail 66. There was a circuit of 6 or so mountains and a turnout of a somewhere closer to 200 people to race...
Totally off topic, but man, I remember being a kid and this was the coolest thing in the world. I'm not sure how something as bad ass as a Multi-million pound spacecraft blasting off into space has become second page news. They've got to get this back on the networks live like the old days...
I am making a deep fried turkey thing based on a turducken for Thanksgiving. Many experts say this is impossible. I think I have the mystery solved, Alton Brown style. I have an idea on how I can keep it all in one piece, and cook uniformly, which seems to be the trick I guess.
I don't really...
Kyle was a good friend to many of us. I first met him at Big Bear in 2001 or 2002. He had just started racing downhill the previous year and was absolutely on fire. He used to pedal up South Mountain and down a few times a week on his singlespeed Imperial to train. The guy could definitely pedal...
I have been planning a house, a very energy efficient house. I have been looking into induction cooktops. Any of you guys or girls have any experience with them?

Someone asked a question in another thread, I figured it would be nice to share this with everyone.
After almost 5 years, the cat is finally going to be let out of the bag. The public full, in-depth dw-link discussion will happen at Interbike this year, 2 times.
The dw-link symposium times...
There have been thousands of different suspension bikes built over time. We have a pretty resourceful group here, what have you seen? There has to be a lot of crazy stuff from the early 90s. Dig up your old pics and magazines and start scanning!

Anyone out there ever seen one of these or know where I can get one? I'm looking to lace a DEEMAX to a 12X135 hub. The DEEMAX is 28 hole. I'd rather not build a hub, but I'm running out of options. Anyone else run into this before? What did you do?

planned for 10:39 AM (EST) today. I always thought it was a pretty exciting thing. Thought I would share. Should be on a lot of TV networks worldwide.

For those who asked previously, the ISCG05 site has been updated and documentation is available for anyone.
The standars is a living document, so over time, like other standards, there will be updates and revisions most likely. If you guys have any questions, let us know, we will need to...
I've been dying all summer to show you guys some pictures of my DH rig, but for obvious reasons I could not. Now I can!
The bike is a 2005 Iron Horse Sunday Beta prototype, a frame that I designed from the ground up as a consultant for Iron Horse. The production bikes have a couple tweaks...
