Thats the kind of offer you want! If its not too late for you I would jump at that.
Where abouts are you studying? I can not remember the details of it, but there is an engineer in Sheffield who just recieved quite a large grant to develop a mountain bike shock controlled but magnets. Kind...
Does anyone know if Superco were there? Any pics of the Silencer if so? Im pretty disappointed so far, doesnt seem to be too much interesting going on at Interbike!
Thanks for that! Shame there is no english version of their site. Having looked at the geo though it does seem a tad different to what I would be after. Its a shame, I really like the low standover and clean lines!
I think the idea is that a Pro racer is going to be going at least twice as fast as most people at any point on a course, hence the slacker headangle allows for this. The bikes will turn a lot sharper for them in tight corners becuase they will be going faster, Thats how I interpret it anyway...
New GT DHi
I cant beleive I'm saying this, but the new Ellsworth looks great as well. I wonder if it comes with that fun old quirky feature of breaking into a thousand peices quite regularly
I also cant wait for this. I emailed them about a month ago, and heres the reply I got.

I've been a silent reader of this thread since it began. I've got a beer chilled in the fridge that I'm guna break out if you guys get your frames
Any news from the guy who was on his way out there?
I knew a couple of guys with them who both sold them on due to the same swingarm problems. I don't think they are being sold in the UK again this year are they?
Hi. This isnt the most complicated question ever but I have searched around and found nothing, I cant even get onto the manitou website which might be something to do with the recent buy out.
Basically I've been offered a set of 2006 Travis new for a really good price. The only thing is, I am...
Ive just had one of those Ti headsets made up along with a bunch of other stuff, looks sweet.
Cant remember off the top of my head, think it weighs about 100g but is really burly
Sounds like a good price to me. Im from the UK but if that frame was up for sale over here it would be around the £1000 -1200 GBP mark. So at the price your getting it for, we could import it pay taxes etc and stiff get it cheaper than we could over here.
The new shape V-10's are awesome...
Try and hunt out a pair of the old zocchi z1s. I can remember the name but they were a yellowy gold colour and had a 20mm axle. I rode a recently seviced pair not so long back and they are still awesome forks
