I'm hoping Warren can reign in the crazy for long enough to appeal to the midwesterners
And thinking that something other than crazy will appeal to midwesterners is why you will fail...

You aren't going to win this one with reason, that was already tried.

four years ago people believed trump was just a business man, not a neo nazi sympathizer. They thought he was a better option than crooked hillary. I dont know...I dont think ultra liberalism is going to work with those people.

I'm anxious to see how things shake as people start to drop out. We're finally seeing the Seth Moultons of the world drop out, and I'm very curious to see how that affects people's second choices.

I think Warren will only go up. I think Bernie and Diamond Joe are maxed out in terms of name recognition, but Harris and Warren can still pick up undecided primary votes.

I am starting to agree with you though, Biden needs to limit his ability to look like a fuckup, and he's terrible at that. Electibility has to be his message, and it's just not there.

I have no idea where I am
While I do think Warren would be a very thoughtful and capable President, her nomination will only galvanize conservative women to come out and vote when they may have abstained. There is just something about her that really gets under the skin of female republicans and they will vote against her.

Verbatim:

"Look, there’s institutional segregation in this country. And from the time I got involved, I started dealing with that. Red-lining banks, making sure we are in a position where — look, you talk about education. . . . The teachers are — I’m married to a teacher, my deceased wife is a teacher. They have every problem coming to them. We have [to] make sure that every single child does, in fact, have 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds go to school. School. Not day care. School. We bring social workers into homes with parents to help them deal with how to raise their children. It’s not that they don’t want to help, they don’t know quite what to do. Play the radio, make sure the television — excuse me, make sure you have the record player on at night, the — the — make sure that kids hear words, a kid coming from a very poor school"

GTFO and retire.

In the cleavage of the Tetons
I am coming around to acceptance of the fact that Biden needs to be put out to pasture.
Not quite ready to full-throatedly get behind Warren, and I think Bernie means we’ll, but would be a terrible President. I like Pete, but he’s too green.
The others...are just that, the Others.
Anyone else in the same boat?

Fair question, I don’t have an answer to that. I think in some ways he is the smartest of the bunch, but that doesn’t make one President.
That was made ABUNDANTLY clear in 2016.

Edit:
I like Pete a lot too. I'll confess, I remain undecided if I'd like to vote for him for president in the near future, but I'd sure be happy to vote for him in the more distant future. But both parties have given up the argument from the inexperience angle, and I have to constantly remind myself of that..

agreed re: biden. i was shocked to hear analysts say he had a good debate. i thought he was awful. warren, harris, and booker all seemed legit; buttigieg and beto too, although beto went too far with the gun taking (not that i disagree, and not that indon't think they should be passionate...it was jist fuel for the assholes. though). just can't warm up to yang. effing democracy dollars lol. not sure what to think of klobuchar. and bernie is just old man yelling at a cloud at this point.

As a Republican, I do actually like Tulsi Gabbard.
Tulsi Gabbard would be my choice for a democratic candidate as she doesn't seem to have any screws loose.
I really like Tulsi Gabbard and think she would make a great first woman president and would even consider voting for her in 2024 if she ran then.
I wish Tolsi Gabbard was stronger on the Democratic side, I really like her.
Coincidence, I'm sure.

Even if you look at non-garbage websites, that seems to be true. I wonder if she's leaching from Sanders or if Biden's star is fading.
