All Monkeys are welcome, but first-timers need to send noods to JBP and TreeSaw.I'd like to try and make it this year too... Not sure what sort of riding I'll be able to do (I've only got one fatbike ride in so far), but I'd love to give this a try... Are jr monkeys welcome for these adventures?

Typically, I'm up at 5 making coffee and cleaning up the mess from the prior night.Lights out at 8 with an odor of bengay, everybody up at 5 complaining about their back pain and talking weather.

When I first started Mfest, I was so mad that JBP was up at 5. After I had kids and grew up a little (a lot) I was up with him and the first one in bedTypically, I'm up at 5 making coffee and cleaning up the mess from the prior night.

I am sure that children would be welcome.I'd like to try and make it this year too... Not sure what sort of riding I'll be able to do (I've only got one fatbike ride in so far), but I'd love to give this a try... Are jr monkeys welcome for these adventures?
In the past I've usually been one of the last ones standing (or stumbling) but I don't party as hard as I used to. Although, I could make an exception if we want to hold the redneck downhill race in the lodge againWhen I first started Mfest, I was so mad that JBP was up at 5. Well...awkward. Sure, the minis are welcome. The rules still apply to any 18+ first-timers.you guys do realize he was asking about his kid, right?
I have gone to 3 Monkeyfests. Why do I have to still send noods? Seems unfair. All Monkeys are welcome, but first-timers need to send noods to JBP and TreeSaw.
The house I linked above has a feature in the back yard. What could go wrong?...if we want to hold the redneck downhill race in the lodge again
Dates are in pencil until accommodations are secured is always how I look at it. Nothing concrete yet.So is there a date or just more gabbing?
That has "new rental agreement clause" written all over it!The house I linked above has a feature in the back yard. What could go wrong?
Working on accommodations now.So is there a date or just more gabbing?
Yeah, the $1,500 damage deposit, to be refunded at the discretion of the landlord, is what stopped me from nailing it.That has "new rental agreement clause" written all over it!
Just needs some lumber and pallets. Shovels and a wheelbarrow. I got a box of screws and a shitload of nails. No playhouse it seems. I will bring sausages again. The house I linked above has a feature in the back yard. What could go wrong?
Which cabin are you in? I am contacting the establishment to see if they might be into renting multiples to the group with or without a reduced rateFWIW wife and I already have a trip to KT with the splats booked for July 21-24. We booked a cabin about a half mile from the usual monkey lodge.
We are in The Burke. It is worth mentioning that a trail (New School) literally runs through the front yard, so these cabins are on KT.Which cabin are you in? I am contacting the establishment to see if they might be into renting multiples to the group with or without a reduced rate
Yup. I have been in communication with the owners. It's in the running with a place that is on Pinkham (think Parrs Yard and Moose Alley) and a Cabin on Darling Hill and of course The Lodge. We are in The Burke. Yup. Those are the cabins that IAB is talking about. Already contacted them.
Attending the shenanigans? Have we met?Other accommodations but will be attending the shenanigans
IAM & MBC
Splat & family
BadDNA & MudGrl
I didn't want to out you two to the n00bsAttending the shenanigans? Have we met?
Yup.....we would need to rent 3 cabins and the cost $$$ though the owners are great and said if I booked all 3 at the same time they would only charge one cleaning fee so that would save us $300
Blasphemy! I totally get it though....@TreeSaw if it's any help, I am willing to stay elsewhere and still participate in the shenanigans. I have enjoyed staying at the lodge in the past...and more recently I have not enjoyed staying at the lodge. So, if I am happy to grab my own hotel room if that makes booking easy.
