June we will see you at the races, I am setting up on Thursday-different bike this year, much faster. I think my wife will be looking forward to seeing a woman there. Last year our team did not have any women anywhere in the campground. This year one other guy is traveling with his wife.

Good luck to all you Pueblo monkeys! :thumb: We expect lots of pics.
My digi crapped out last week so I bought a new camera last night. Rumour has it that the race venue may have wi-fi set up so I might be able to give some live updates and pics, got to find something to do between laps.

More fun than we are sitting at our computers, that's for sure! I know that Treesaw and Earl's bikes made it out there with time to spare, so that's a relief as well.

Just a quick recap until somebody with more time can fill in the details. The East Coast beat the West Coast and took 5th overall, with the West Coast in 6th. Congrats to them - it was an epic race in insane conditions. Everybody put out and we were within three minutes (with the West Coast leading) at midnight before some bad luck and brain farts cost the West some time. The East Coast traveled a long way and it was awesome to see them get recognized on the podium and they took home plaques and some gear, as well as the Ridemonkey Cup. It was an adventure all the way. There were some real dogfights out there, with Echo and I going head-to-head for half a lap early on.

The lap times are as follows - the posted results has the West Coast team all mixed up:
Rider Lap Time
Westy 1 1:01:08

All right East and West Coast Monkeys.... Now that your enhausted and have mud packed into every nook and cranny, what advice do you have to share with a fellow :monkey: preparing his team (and himself) for their first 24 Hour race?

Well, I had to take mine on the plane and Earl's made it just in time....to the wrong address that is...and I DEFINATELY wouldn't say there was time to spare.
