Agreed, on more complicated suspension designs mud just gets caked in around and on the shock. I like the fenderThe fender is home made...
frznnomad,
After a muddy DH without the fender that area gets really dirty. And it means more maintenance in the shock...
Nice, I've always loved the Clifcat stuff. I always said that if I were to sell my Nuke I'd track down one of those old-school Holeshot frames with the high pivot.38lb but when im done it will be 35lb-36lb
WHAT DOES IT WEIGH? This is for light bikes around 40lbs.My Bear. Still going strong after many years. Only changed the seat since these pics.
**** aye,I'm amazed. Thought the DNMs would have thrown it way over. Nice, sorry for my guess it was way more.42.5 with those tyres (2.8 michi and intense)
Close enough for my liking.
Now you just need to ride it.......My DHR sit's a bit over 38......i think alot of you fools are way off with your weight measurements......
i'll try to score gravity lights when they are available.....and if i trip on some money and i can afford to geek out, i'll get the new magnesium codes, a hollow pin chain, a skinny sdg saddle, and maybe throw some fresh tires on 2.5f/2.2r ....that'll get me under or around 36 and still be an extremely sturdy bike......
What size frame is that?My DHR sit's a bit over 38......i think alot of you fools are way off with your weight measurements......

Maybe that's because it's not that big.The Large 2007 DHR is by far the beste looking large-size dh-bike frame out there right now. It just looks right..
It suits my 6'4" friendMaybe that's because it's not that big.
very nice man. how are the schwalbes holding up? i've got some big bettys i'm waiting to try (though i'm worried they're too light to be durable in a dh application). Its just around 35lbs. Rides like a dream.
The Canfield F1 large is also a little small on the geo, Im 6'3 and its on par.The Large 2007 DHR is by far the beste looking large-size dh-bike frame out there right now. It just looks right..
Nice man! Which tires?awesome socom devotion ! i did what you said changed my tires and chain guide and i got my socom down to 40.1 .not 35 yet but i'm gaining on you !
The Nobby Nics are holding up fine, so far. My only worries is the sidewalls, which are thicker on the Big Betty. You'll be fine on them if you don't rip rockgardens thinking you have 4plys .very nice man. how are the schwalbes holding up? i've got some big bettys i'm waiting to try (though i'm worried they're too light to be durable in a dh application).
I like that very much.ok, 38.6# no air or Ti spring.
shes in need of a new home also
It's a really well camouflaged SDG Bel Air (with the Cow fur ). Weights in at 246g, previously too over way over 300.devotion: what saddle is that?
