I finally got my wheels built after waiting for months for some UST rims. The UST didnt work out so im the proud owner of some old school d521's. Just got one more project to finish then i'll be able to ride again!!! the tires are just temporary for riding to and from work and urban/trail rides. havent determined what tires im racing in this year.

Nice looking wheel. Are you running 26/26 or 24/26?

26/26. first time in over 2 years ive had 26" wheels. kinda cool !
Crazy. I used to run nothing but 26/26, I went to 24/26 when I got my TMX, and now I'm trying 24/24. Sometimes it's good to try something new. Kinda makes the bike feel like a brand new toy again! I liked the 26/26 and 24/26 on the fast wide open runs, but hated them in the tight woodsy stuff.

What tires are you running and how much do they weigh? And you said that bike is only 47lbs? That's basically how mine will be. I am even considering going DHFti.

whatcha talkin about? I think the Kawasaki 85 and honda 85 are the same but im not sure about that, That's just what i heard. The Avalanche DHF fork uses Kawasaki 85 fork guards. I bought them from Avalanche and they came in the OEM Kawasaki packaging.

I gotta new toy today !!!!!!!!!!!!!. They didnt have black/gold w/ pink highlights but it'll do. The thing weighs a ton and will make a beautiful dirt take-off and lander. It has a 10"x10" cast steel, flat base that is ideal for packing in dirt for a jump or landing. I love this thing. Where is a baby seal when you need one. No J/K! There's about 19 of us from dallas going to a big freekin hill in Oklahoma next weekend to build a dh course for an April race. My first of about 12 DH races this year is 30 days from today. Cant wait, gonna be a GREAT summer!
