Good to know there not up for the abuse. I caught a hard on for a sec. I bent 3 sets of steel 1s these wouldnt stand a chance. Always looking for ways to shed some wieght.

Nice JB. you will be really happy with the RL. You'll be amazed at how fast they are. Just like your TMX probably rides better than you think a 60 pound bike should ride, the RL is the same way - lots of power to the rear tire.
I'm excited to see how your RL comes along over the winter. Glad to see you're having so much fun racing.

A week or so ago there was a dicussion about Ti axels on Racelinks. I mounted up one on mine today, and took a few photos along the way.
As said earlier, the Profile Ti axel is a bit longer than the standard axel. I used the 6,875" Ti axel, and it's 0,5" longer than the standard. My standard axel can be mounted without tools, but the Ti has to be smacked on with a mallet. (Very tight fit).
As the Ti was longer I tried to, use as few extra spacers a possible. And not getting the getto-look Joel talked about
Ended up with 3 spacers (1/8") on the rightside.
These spacers added 3/8" to the right side, and did bring the right crankarm 7mm. further out from the center of the frame, compared to the left arm. Not to much, but notisable.
Here's how it looks:
About the weight, there was a big difference. The standard anchor:
The Ti and spacers: (7g for four spacers)
Also used flushbolts (steel) and washers on the new setup. Saved another 10g.
I'm a nerd I know. I can't ride, my thigh is ****ed, so I gotta do something on a sunday, lol.
