they ride better that way!
Jimmy_Pop said:maybe we'll finally get you in da family!!! yippee! Tony seems to be good folks and that would be an awsome bike to own! With your mtn8, get ready for what, a 70 pound bike? that's crazy. Im sure once you get that thing rolling downhill, it is soo much fun to ride.
If you do, please promise not to beat ppl over the head with the "bmws rule" mantra - the avy thing is funny but dont do the samething with bmw. OK? K!

No - the shortest version is over 11" and as far as I know it will only fit the Big LinkDHS said:yes. bike felt great. but i'm sure if i got my dhs valved that way and had about 11inches of travel and 3inch tires. it'd be comfy too. just stiffer and more adjustments. high and low. i'd love to play with one more.
can i fit one on my Racelink?
meh...Jimmy_Pop said:or waiting for BMW to change to 9.5" eye to eye so we can run any shock we want

Hey tony, which bike do you like better, the big link or the hitman?Tonycalves said:This is my quiver of Brooklyns. I sold the TMX about a year ago I'm looking to sell the the Big Link. I don't have room in the budget to hang on to them all, I wish I did. It's a sin not to see them riden. The Park and the FQ are kissing cousins didn't have the loot to build both soon though. If I'm ever up at my buddies in SF I'll let you ride the Hitman. I let people ride them all the time. I let a few guys up in Whistler ride the Biglink and Hitman. Letting people ride them is the only way to appreciate them. You just have to give me your wife and child as collateral. If I ever meet you I'll make you a beliver. Yes it is kind of cultish but there's no koolaid involved.

hi there. last word i heard was that it's still being tested so not avail for some time. i can drop you a pm when i hear they're heading into production on 'em but hopefully they'll announce something on their site once it's underway. (HA!!! that would be way too efficient in the marketing department for them.)DHS said:hey TMX,
when do you think that new chain guide will be ready?
i would like to proto one. hehe...
just need the outer bash guard. i'll make my own inner plate.
crapper! sucks to hear but thanks for sharing. can you give the shop a call about this? while there could be minor set up issues that could eliminate (or drastically reduce) the problem where the guide won't be needed, i think they should be made aware of it. talk to doc. k? thanks.DHS said:chain issues yes.
#105 dropped both chains off a wet skinny. 2nd day he was riding it. #95 has dropped 3 times i believe. all at diablo. i can't remember how many times i have, but its only been more then 5 or 6 in the past 2 years. pedalling through rough stuff always
it just sounded like i posted that.sikocycles said:I have never tossed my chain. Maybe I am not fast enough. Just some chain suck if I not lube it well. I keep my chain real short and use a sram deraileur.
