After the bed, the toilet was the 2nd thing installed in my van.
i think remodeling that would be more comfortable than a sprinter....Auto auction down the street from my house had this on its lot. Seems like it would be up @stevew 's alley.

Vans have turned into an epidemic in my neighborhood. I used see one or two in the places I walk my dog, now there are several on each block. I see some good deals to be had when people can fly and stay in hotels again
most trailheads around here have put restrictions on overnight parking. Vanlife is killing vanlife.
Most bike trailheads here ban camping to prevent them from becoming homeless camps.
Mine gets 15+mpg average so far. Not quite as good as a Sprinter, but also cheaper to maintain.

So, we have a propane leak at the tank or the regulator. Any tips on positively identifying the leak location, other than a lighter?
Good idea. Ill make a spray bottle.
There is a funny vanlifer video of him finding the leak in the stove with a lighter.
Propane sniffer wands are also helpful. I verified after every tank removal/fill that there were no leaks anywhere. Was good for peace of mind after having a full tank leak out on me.
Yeah, that was my Dad's go to growing up for their deep fryer cooking ranges which had plenty of gas pipes under them.
Soapy water is the jam for finding leaks.
Turns out it was a faulty amerigas tank.

Propane exchange is a rip off. They sell you a 3/4 full bottle for the price of a full one. I take my tanks to a fill station and get a full fill. Oh and you can take an exchange tank to a fill station and they will give you a full fill, they don't care whose name is on the label.
I get them filled to the brim at my local propane place, they dont give a shit. I found this one outside of my storage unit. Now that it failed, i can just exchange it. Maybe thats why someone ditched it...
