Here's a shot from today. It's fcken huge. Scary jump with a short steep landing.
The weather came in bad, so we cut the session short to get coffee in...

Looks to me like the weather came in GOOD. 
One of the boy's birthday today, so we built a kicker spot with some beers.

So I've been asked to do a shoot with a group of base jumpers this Friday.
Sounds awesome right? I think so.
However....
What happens when I've roped down to the take-off spot with them, do the shots, then they jump??? The cliff is fcken huge! The ropes and harnesses are need as the access to the jump zone is difficult.
Stay tuned. I'm meeting them on Friday morning to discuss...

Went up again this morning. Tried a different perspective by roping down closer to the edge and trying to get the actual cliff face in.
I think I prefer yesterday's shot, it makes it look bigger.

Maybe if there were others on the cliff with me. As it was, he jumped, I climbed back out solo to the car.

Went back up to the step up today.
Then we headed up to the board park in Avoriaz for a bit of a sunset jib session.
Got back to the chalet at 7:45pm, had to have dinner on table at 8pm....

Went hiking today up a peak called Pointe du Cheserie. It takes just over an hour to get to the top, after which you get an awesome north face to negotiate down.
I took some crappy pics on my iPhone, which I had Photoshop stitch together for me into a basic panorama.
So here is a 17-picture 360 degree panorama from the top of Pointe du Cheserie:

I was invited to be a guest photographer for Burton Europe last night. What an awesome time.
After the lifts closed we were treated to a BBQ, a spitroast lamb and drinks while we waited for it to get dark.
Using groomers to move us around the mountain after dark to get to different photo spots, getting to shoot team riders alongside Burton's staff photographers. Awesome.
Then, we got to descend the mountain at about midnight behind the groomers, fresh tracks on piste! So sweet!
I can show you a couple of pics that Burton won't want:

One more week of chairlifts here. However, there is enough snow for hiking after they close.
