^ That's the first iteration of my GGTP. Currently running it as a 29er with carbon hoops, I9 hubs and 2.35 Minion DHF's front and rear.

I seriously just woke up from a dream that I got that frame with a push shock. GG included a shit ton of free stickers inside of the seat tube (?), to which I thought in my dream "yeah man, they really know the riders"

Has anyone tried a thirstmaster 3000 on a megatrail/trail pistol? Was looking for some more options on bigger water bottles, I know there's that fabric bottle..

here's a pic:

Regarding the wheel offset mtg, would a rear wheel from a previous bike require a re-dish to take full advantage of the 3mm offset?

Yep, and I think I may have just answered your question on MTBR, but the rear hub is offset 3mm to the drive side, which means you need to dish the rim 3mm towards the brake side.

It's the same as the Pedälhead and Trail Pistol. See page 8: https://ridegg.com/Shared/images/trail-pistol-Owners-Manual.pdf. The new Megatrail owner's manual will be live on the website at the beginning of March, but that page was copied and pasted into the new manual.

The Camelbak Podium 2 bottles are the best I've found so far for max volume per length. I don't think the Thirsmaster has additional volume over the Podium. The 21oz version is what we stock at GG for the frame storage kit. You can stuff a 24oz version in there in some combinations as well.

The Fabric cageless ones are sweet, because you have to move the bottle such a short distance to get them in/out. I haven't tried the 750ml one yet, but the 600ml fits with a ton of room on my M.

@gemini2k this is where your height is an advantage. Your frame may be the only one that will fit that monster. A standard XL might fit it, but even those are rare.

No need for $10k bikes here, one of our BAMF's in Virginia made this video of him shredding singletrack on his $2995 Trail Pistol:

Don't know how you guys are ever going to penetrate the Enduro® market with guys like this representing your company.
Enduro violations:
1. long hair generates drag at speed (see Fabien, Nico, Rude for guidance)
2. no fluoro as part of a multispectral colorway
3. no gloves therefore no colorway coordination
4. no gogs (see #3 about matchy matchy)
5. no part-time full face helmet
6. riding appears to be taking place in winter, on the East coast and lacks any greenery, exotic foliage, volcanoes, ancient cities, or Scotland.

Please see this EWS propaganda and get your shit together:
